I am an interactive and collaborative therapist, when we meet together we will spend time talking together about what is going on in your life and insights I have about your situation. Your feedback is an important part of the process, it will help to determine what ways we can work together to change understand your current situation and ways you can make positive changes. Together we will explore the issues you are facing and create a plan to address those issues. We will examine new ways you can think and act in order to bring about the changes in your life that you are looking for. Our work together will focus on identifying challenges that you face to living the life you want, your relationships and your own personal contentment. After we have identified theses issues I will help you to learn how to see what things you are already doing that are working and what new things you can start doing to increase positive outcomes. Your participation and follow through are key to making the therapy process work.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clarify personal values and to take action on them, bringing more strength and meaning to your life through mindfulness and increasing your own psychological flexibility
Existential Therapy to help understand how you deal with value and meaning in your life and how self awareness of your choices can lead you to feel more content and satisfied with your life.
Motivational Interviewing to help identify the stage of change you are at with any given issue and to help move you forward in that process of change to the end goal you are wanting to reach
Short-term and Long-term therapy is available.
For clients dealing with schizophrenia I also specialize in wellness management and recovery which is a holistic approach to living with and recovering from your illness all the while working on specific goals you would like to reach.
Weekly sessions are 45 minutes long. Both more frequent as well as longer sessions can be arranged upon your request.
